The 55MW Lopburi Solar power plant sells its net electricity output generated to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under a non-firm PPA for Small Power Producer scheme (SPP). Meanwhile, the 8MW Wang Ploeng Solar power plant sells its net electricity output generated to Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) under a non-firm PPA for Very Small Power Producer scheme (VSPP). By generating the clean electricity from both solar power plants, it’s expected to reduce 1.5 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions over its 25-year lifespan.
